THE WINE
We are located in one of the most important wine regions in Italy. Piedmont is famous for wines such as Barbera and Barolo. But Piedmont has other wine treasures to offer. Ancient local grape varieties such as Grignolino, Fresia, Arneis, Cortese, Malvasia and Timorasso are worth knowing about.
We have gradually connected with several wine producers who sell high quality wines and offer tastings and presentations of various wines.

THE CUISINE
Italian cuisine is famous all over the world. What is perhaps not so well known is that all regions have their own traditional cuisine, held in high regard by proud traditions.
Piedmont has always been an agricultural area and, in addition to wine production, is known for hazelnuts, truffles and livestock. These are all important ingredients in Piedmontese cuisine, in addition to vegetables, herbs and fruit that all grow happily here. There are also many cheese producers in the area.
We can recommend several good restaurants that serve local and traditional food depending on the time of year and season. We can also arrange visits to local cheese producers.

NATURE
The area we live in, Monferrato, is on the UNESCO World Heritage List as a cultural landscape.
It is a hilly area with farmland, grapes and forests and is ideal for hiking and cycling.
The farm roads that run between the various plots and settlements are free to use.
You can rent both scooters and electric bikes in the local area.

CITIES
There are several small and large cities and towns around us that are worth a visit.
Of the larger cities, Turin and Milan are about 1.5 hours away by car. You can also reach these cities by train (from Asti). Cuneo is another city that is worth a visit. The city is west of us, towards the French Alps, also about 1.5 hours away by car.
Moncalvo is known as the smallest city in Italy and is 4 km away from us. This is a pleasant town with several good restaurants and small shops. We can also recommend towns such as Acqui Terme, Castell’Alfero, Cocconato, Casale Monferrato and others, all worth a visit.
